Course Completion Card: American Heart Association certification valid for 2 years

Course Description: The American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers Course covers core material such as adult and pediatric CPR (including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag mask), foreign-body airway obstruction, and automated external defibrillation. Students must pass a written exam and skills test in order to qualify for a Basic Life Support completion card.

Audience: For healthcare providers such as EMS personnel, physicians and assistants, dentists, nurses, medical or nursing students in training, physical, occupational and respiratory therapists. This course is aimed at professionals who must be credentialed as a requirement for doing their jobs.

Visit http://www.onlineaha.org/ to sign up for the online HeartCode class. Complete the cognitive portion online and print completion certificate, you will need to bring this with you to your skills session. After completion contact us for an appointment to have your skills evaluation. The skills session fee is $60.00 and takes approximately one hour. Upon completion you will receive a two year AHA certification card.
